You will need to remove the existing HDMI cable from your PS4 to do this, but do not disconnect it from your TV. Connect the PlayStation Camera to your PS4. Slide the cover back and connect the included HDMI cable from the port on the Processor Unit marked “HDMI PS4” to the back of the PlayStation 4 console. PSVR 2’s playspace setup process is very similar to what you see on Quest 2: you’re able to draw an outline from within your headset to set your boundary. The PlayStation VR is the easiest of the three major VR systems to setup, but it's not quite as simple as plugging in a console. Connect the HDMI (TV) port on the Processor Unit, or the small black box that comes with the PSVR headset, to your TV. There’s a cover on the front right side of the Processor Unit that slides back to reveal the interface ports. This looks like a thin black box that connects to your PlayStation 4. Included in the packaging with the PSVR is the Processor Unit. We’ve already covered what you need to make the PSVR work, as well as a listing of what’s included in the box, so make sure you check that out if you’re unsure. 1 Plug your processor unit into your TV with an HDMI cable. If you’re anything like us, your PS4 hasn’t moved much since it was initially hooked up. The HDMI port looks like a trapezoid that should also be labeled on both the processor unit (HDMI TV) and the TV. If your PlayStation is connected to your TV via HDMI, unplug it and use that cable to connect the TV to the VR's processor unit.
